Faïza Kéfi
The Secretary of State became ambassador

Nothing predestined Faïza Kéfi, ex-president of the Union of the tunisian woman group, to be named, the april 22nd 1999, to the head of the tunisian Secretary of the Environment and Development.
Or maybe her evident charisma, her courage and true intelligence on the field.
"It was a dream, and i would never thought it would become true. It is at the same time an accomplishment and the beginning of a road".
And this road will take her to Paris, where she works now as Ambassador of Tunisia in France.

When she fininshed her studies at universities of law and economical sciences, Faïza Kefi raised her family and spend times with them. But the economic and social crise of the eighties propulsed her to join associative groups, where she extented her actions to the four corners of the country.

"The fundamentalists attack the vulnerable people. Someone had to go on the field, inform, educate, develop the women potentiel...
The women's courage helped me every day to go further on. Their ambition became my only model".

At that time helped by her only woman counter part, Neziha Zarrouk, in charge of the woman and family Office, the brand new Secretary - who is proud to hold this title as a woman- wants to prove that she is equal to her responsabilities but also that a woman knows how to affirm her differences.

Today, nothing has changed for this exceptional woman, except the importance of her mission : to represent the tunisian state in France.
"It is the Tunisia of today, women who break free still being women.
To affirm its personality, even if it sets some teeth on edge.
But i believe in the vertues of transparence, honesty and sincerity, which able to unite the strenght around oneself".
