Almost three thousand miles from Quebec, in the heart of the prairies of Saskatchewan and Alberta, which fantasy-filled minds can’t imagine whitout cowboys.
No territory in the world can overcome as dazzling a destiny as that of western Canada. |

Barely two centuries ago, when the Blackfeet or Sihasapa Indians were still hunting bison, a handful of trappers ventured to Quebec looking for furs, guided by the navigable rivers into extensive, unknown territory. Today oil flows there like water, silos of wheat rise up like cathedrals, horses and livestock graze by the thousands. And the cities of the west rival their great sister cities on the European continent, opening wide their arms to all the world’s urbanity.
